Brand & Messaging

Say what you mean. Mean what you say.

Most businesses know what they do. The challenge is explaining it in a way that sticks: to clients, to partners, to the person reading your website at 11 p.m. on their phone. We help you find the language that fits. Clear, honest, and distinctly yours.

Brand and messaging work starts with listening. We’ll ask about the people you serve, the problems you solve, and the way you think about your work when you’re not performing for an audience. From there, we develop core messaging: your positioning, your voice, and the language you’ll return to again and again. The goal is a framework you can actually use, one that makes writing emails, updating your website, or briefing a designer easier, not harder.

What does "messaging framework" actually mean?

A set of building blocks: your core positioning statement, a few key messages for different audiences, and guidelines for tone. Think of it as a reference document that saves you from reinventing the wheel every time you write something.

How long does this take?

Typically four to six weeks, depending on how much material we're working with and how quickly you can schedule conversations. We don't rush this work. Getting the language right takes thought, but we also don't drag it out.

Do you write copy, or just strategy?

Both, depending on what you need. Some clients want a messaging framework they can hand to their team. Others want us to apply it across their website, emails, or marketing materials. We're happy to do either.
