Our clients come to us with websites and strategies that need rethinking. We start by figuring out where things stopped working, then modernize that. Most of our clients are doing work that matters to them without a marketing department behind it. Somewhere along the way the site, or the plan behind it, had drifted out of step with what they were trying to do, and they wanted it pulling its weight again. Here are a few of those projects, and what changed.

After Before

TDA had years of association business spread across a site few could navigate. We rebuilt it as a members’ portal. Now residents find every association document in one place and pay dues online.

“Finding a single association document used to mean emailing three people and hoping. Now residents can just log in to the portal and find everything easily. Our residents have the information they need, and the site looks so much more modern.”

—Bill Bowling, TDA Webmaster

After Before

Dalton Law needed more engagement on their Personal Injury pages. We implemented a SEO/AIO plan with Smart Brevity copy and custom schemas that brought them 67% more Personal Injury clients.

“Lingua Ink rewrote our site in plain language around what injured people actually search for, and the inquiries started coming from the right kind of clients instead of tire-kickers. I should have done this years ago.”

—Nicole T. Dalton, Attorney

After Before

The Grannies had a tangle of separate websites. The international group had its own, the local chapters had theirs, and a song archive sat on another domain. We pulled it all into a single fast network with cohesive branding, a subsite for each of the 60+ chapters, and a searchable library of more than 1,400 protest songs.

“Our many websites made us look scattered. Now there’s a single home with a page for every group across North America, and our 1,400 protest songs finally live in the same place. Lingua Ink handed a pack of activist grandmothers a simple, modern website that tells the world who we are.”

—Connie Peabody, Webgranny, IRG

After Before

Devon’s site looked good, but clients couldn’t book and pay for a session without a string of back-and-forth emails. We redesigned the homepage and built in a booking system tied to her calendar and Zoom, with her session types and packages set up so clients can schedule the right thing on their own.

“Booking used to be the clunkiest part of my practice, all email tag and missed connections. Now my clients schedule and pay on their own, and the whole thing finally feels as calm and put-together as I want my work to feel.”

—Devon Ervin, Coach, Writer, Activist

After Before

Carolyn is an established, Pushcart-nominated poet whose author site had quietly gone out of date. We refreshed it so it represents her current work and reads the way a poet’s page should, clean and unfussy, without losing anything she’d built up.

“With a sharp eye for design and technological expertise, Lingua Ink turned my outdated author’s website into one that vividly represents me and my work. The site is visually inviting and easy to navigate. It’s one I’m proud to have my name on.”

—Carolyn Martin, Poet

Sulima Malzin website, created by Lingua Ink Media LLC

Sulima writes reflections on the world through poetry and art, and wanted a home that reached readers without making her wrestle the technology. We built her site and the publishing pipeline behind it. Now one post she writes goes to subscribers on multiple platforms, from a single place.

“Lingua Ink built me a beautiful website that has actually become the center of my writing life. My Light Waves posts go out from there and from Substack on their own, allowing me the time I need to research and put them together. All I have to do is ponder and write.”

—Sulima Malzin, Aging Rascal

Lynn A. Haller website, created by Lingua Ink Media LLC

Lynn was launching her first children’s book and needed a real home for it before launch day, not a placeholder. We built her author site to be ready when she was, so she had somewhere to send readers and reviewers the moment the book went live.

“I’d always dreamed of having a website for my creative work. The ‘how’ felt impossible until Lingua Ink. The site matches my vision, and they taught me how to write good blog posts and think about SEO. What’s SEO? I never knew I’d need any of that. Now it’s my home base, where everything lives. I feel safe knowing Lingua Ink is behind it.”

—Lynn A. Haller,  MSW, LCSW
